The application process in now underway so please do not hesitate as they are already starting to file in. We are looking forward to meeting all the new applicants and families as we move forward in always looking to improve our already successful academy.
Spectrum Hockey Academy gets first Ivy League Alumni
Ivy League hockey up next for young Grizzlies defenceman DeJong
Hockey Academy Alum 16 Year Old Nolan DeJong, grade 11 student at Spectrum High School, and Defenseman with the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL, has Committed to attend Cornell University to play for the "BIG RED".
"It's pretty cool," said the composed 6-foot-2, 170-pound defenceman, who attends Grade 11 at Spectrum. "It's obviously pretty exciting that it's happened now. I haven't played a game yet in the BCHL and I have a scholarship to an Ivy League school; there's not much more I can ask for. It's exciting and now I'm looking forward to the exhibition season and regular season and hopefully making an impact."
